March 2018- First Offense Dismissed
My client was originally pulled over for speeding and then the police officer claimed my client had bloodshot, glassy eyes. The police officer requested my client perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, specifically Counting Backwards, HGN, Nine Step Walk and Turn, and the One Leg Stand. My client refused the portable breath test but submitted to the breath test at the police department, which resulted in a reading of .14% BAC.
Results: My client was charged with OUI-Liquor, First Offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding. All charges were dismissed pursuant to the Valor Act. This was an amazing result!
